Look Beyond Assembly

A strong OEM or ODM partner should be able to work across industrial design, structure, electronics, firmware and pneumatic performance. In-house SMT capability adds control over circuit-board production and makes engineering feedback faster.

Ask who develops the PCB, motor system, pump structure and control logic. Also ask how design changes are verified before a sample is approved.

Verify the Test Process, Not Just the Promise

Rechargeable products require thoughtful battery management, charging protection and thermal design. A supplier should be able to explain its component controls and validation process clearly.

Quality control should cover incoming materials, PCB function, pressure accuracy, inflation performance, leakage, noise, temperature rise, charging behavior, appearance and final operation. Request the inspection standard and an example report.

07 · Compliance

Can the Supplier Support Your Destination Market?

Compliance requirements depend on the product configuration and country of sale. Discuss applicable product, battery, electromagnetic compatibility, substance and transport requirements early.

Can Production Scale Without Losing Control?

A factory tour should show more than a busy line. Look for organized material control, work instructions, traceability, process inspection, capacity planning and finished-goods management.

Ask how the supplier handles forecasts, peak-season orders, critical components and engineering changes. Stable delivery comes from systems—not last-minute effort.
